Barrybrook Stables has been in business for 13 years in Harwich (on Cape Cod) Mass. We have now moved to 213 West Alna Road in Wiscasset, Maine to build a top quality stable that will offer boarding, lessons and summer/day camp programs. Our new barn is finally finished with 9 bright matted stalls added to our existing 4 stall barn  If you are looking for a nice relaxed atmosphere with all the amenities needed for you and your horse, we have them. With over thirty years experience with horses in Western, English, Dressage, training, showing ,breeding and breaking babies. We are well aware that they are a creature of habit. Our main goal is to keep your horse safe and sound, and that comes from a daily schedule. We feed at 7:00 am and they go out at 8:00. They have all day turnout , lunch and fresh water in their own paddocks or together in the field. They are taken out at the same time by the same person every day. They then come in at 5:00 and are fed at 6:00 pm. Water is then topped off and all stalls are picked before the day is done. We feel it is VERY important to have trained staff with plenty of horse knowledge to handle all horses. If any horse does not look right in any way or did not drink their normal amount of water over the night their name is put on the board to be watched for the day. We have found over the years that this has not only stopped trouble before it has progressed but also saves the owners on vet bills by watching and taking action at the first sign of trouble. We have a 60 foot round pen, , a 100x150 outdoor ring, two wash stalls ( pending), sand paddocks and a nice grass field. Our trails are right from the farm and no roads to cross. Our hay comes from the same fields in Canada so there are no drastic change in their diet, Our grain is top quality and is adjusted properly for each horse. We teach Dressage, Western, English and do Training.
